Advancing Community Health Through Service and Solidarity

The Lebang Cultural and Development Organization – USA (LECUDO-USA), in collaboration with Mary Health of Africa Hospital, Fontem, and the Focolari Movement, is pleased to officially announce the LECUDO-USA 2026 Annual Free Medical Campaign, scheduled to take place from Wednesday, March 11 to Saturday, March 14, 2026.

This landmark health initiative will be implemented at Mary Health of Africa Hospital, Fontem, and is dedicated to improving access to quality healthcare for the Lebang and Lebialem communities, particularly for vulnerable and underserved populations.

A Proven Commitment to Community Health

Over the years, the LECUDO-USA Health Campaign has become a cornerstone of community-centered healthcare delivery, providing life-changing medical services at no cost. The 2026 edition continues this tradition by mobilizing medical professionals, volunteers, partners, and donors around a shared mission: healthcare with dignity, compassion, and impact.

The LECUDO-USA Executive Committee (EXCO) and the Health Committee extend their sincere appreciation to all supporters whose dedication, sacrifices, and unwavering commitment have sustained this initiative year after year. Your contributions—whether in time, expertise, or resources—remain the backbone of this program’s success.

Services to Be Offered Free of Charge

During the 2026 Health Campaign, beneficiaries will have access to a wide range of medical services, including but not limited to:

  1. General medical consultations

  2. Laboratory investigations

  3. Surgical services

  4. Cancer screening

  5. Hypertension and diabetes screening

  6. Mental health services

  7. Eye and dental care

  8. Medical referrals

  9. And many other essential health services

These services are delivered through a collaborative effort involving local and international medical teams, supported by trusted institutional partners.

Call for Volunteers: Early Registration Encouraged

To ensure effective planning, coordination, and logistics, LECUDO-USA is inviting all individuals interested in volunteering for the 2026 Health Campaign to register early.

Prospective volunteers are kindly requested to contact any member of the LECUDO-USA Executive Committee, or directly reach out to:

Early registration will enable the Health Committee to properly plan assignments, accommodation, materials, and operational workflows for the campaign.

Dedicated Communication Platform for the 2026 Campaign

In preparation for the campaign, a dedicated communication forum will be created by Wednesday, December 31, exclusively for the LECUDO-USA 2026 Health Campaign.

All registered volunteers will be added to this platform to facilitate:

  • Timely information sharing

  • Coordination of activities

  • Logistical updates

  • Volunteer engagement and support

Volunteers are therefore strongly encouraged to register early to ensure inclusion in this forum from the outset.

Appeal to Partners and Stakeholders

LECUDO-USA respectfully calls on its partners, stakeholders, and friends of the organization to begin preparing for financial and material support toward this noble initiative.

A formal appeal letter will be circulated in due course, outlining priority needs and areas of support. Your generosity will directly contribute to saving lives, improving health outcomes, and strengthening community resilience.
