Fertilizer Donation to Women for Agricultural Production
In a significant gesture aimed at boosting local agriculture and supporting women’s empowerment, Minister Tasong—alongside members of parliament—donated more than 300 bags of fertilizer to the women of Nwametaw as part of activities marking International Women’s Day.
Speaking on behalf of the women, their representative expressed deep appreciation to Minister Paul Tasong, Hon. Dr. Foju, and Senator Fon Lekunze for the timely assistance. She noted that the donation arrives at the start of the planting season and will greatly enhance agricultural productivity in the area.
Support for the Construction of the Nwametaw People’s Palace
The event also highlighted the community’s commitment to development. During the gathering, a total of 2,500,000 FCFA (two million five hundred thousand francs CFA) was mobilized to support the ongoing construction of the Nwametaw People’s Palace.
